This self-assessment draws on the five core skills from the famous Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal is one of the most widely used professional tools for assessing how people think, reason, and make judgments. It’s not an IQ test. Instead, it measures how well you analyse information, spot assumptions, evaluate arguments, and draw sound conclusions.
Critical thinking is the foundation of great strategic thinking. It helps you question assumptions, separate fact from opinion, and make clearer, more confident decisions in work and in life. The better your critical thinking, the more effectively you can navigate uncertainty, cut through noise, and choose the best path forward.
Take 10–15 minutes to reflect honestly on each question. Note your answers, reactions, and areas where you feel less confident. The goal isn’t to “score” yourself but to notice how you think and where you might strengthen your reasoning process.
